Marsh, an insurance broker and risk advisor, has appointed Tim Wolcott as Executive Engagement Partner (EEP), a newly created senior leadership role in Marsh’s US Global Risk Management operations.

In his new role, Wolcott will be responsible for managing all aspects of Marsh’s global relationships with some of its largest clients. This includes strategic planning, service delivery, and team composition. And will be based in Pittsburgh

Wolcott has more than 30 years of insurance underwriting and broking experience. Most recently, he was head of Marsh’s US Financial Institutions Practice, a role he held since 2007. Previously, he was a vice chairman in Marsh’s FINPRO operations.

Marsh Global Risk Management division president Timothy Mahoney said Wolcott’s proven track record in creating client satisfaction, leading risk practices and industry segments, driving revenue growth, and overall leadership capabilities will be critical to the development and implementation of the most senior client-facing role.
