Markerstudy Group, a UK-based provider of motor insurance products, has appointed Mark Lagden as head of motor fleet, reporting to Gary Humphreys, group underwriting director.
Prior to this role, Mark was with Brightside Group, where he was heading the broking team and handling motor fleets as well as a variety of other motor classes including couriers, taxis and commercial vehicles.
Prior to Brightside, In 2003, he joined KGM as motor fleet underwriter where he built up a profitable book with both London markets and provincial brokers.
Lagden started his insurance career at Commercial Union, dealing with a variety of motor and commercial classes, before specializing in motor fleets and moving to underwrite at Equity Red Star in 1999.
Markerstudy Group offers private motor products, including schemes business, as well as private and public hire, fleet, motorcycle, private car, and commercial vehicle insurance products.
