Lockton Companies, a privately held insurance broker, has hired Leo Tokar as senior vice president, client service executive in the benefits department at its Denver office.

Mr Tokar will play a key role in developing strategic solutions for Lockton clients in the changing landscape of employee benefits. His prior experience with Kaiser is expected to offer Lockton clients a 360-degree perspective on solutions to health and welfare issues.

Earlier, Mr Tokar was an executive at Kaiser Permanente for the past 11 years and was most recently vice president of marketing, sales and business development. Prior to that, he headed Kaiser’s actuarial and underwriting departments for several years.
