Insurance brokerage firm, Lockton, has appointed Pam Devling as its new assistant vice president and consulting actuary.

Ms Devling will provide advice to clients on pension plans and retiree medical plans with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions.

The Lockton team and Ms Devling will consult on pension assumptions, liability calculations, future projections and conduct peer reviews of actuarial evaluations of pension plans. The team can also conduct accounting valuations to ensure that plans meet standards set by the Financial Accounting Standards Board.
