Liferay has launched Allianz Australia's new customer portal, My Insurance Portfolio, which incorporates insurer’s web presence into sales and marketing strategies and provides both existing and prospective customers an online environment for performing insurance-related account management activities.
Liferay said that the new portal was selected to enhance an existing customer site to improve the overall level of functionality. Allianz designed My Insurance Portfolio to provide a robust customer experience with valuable and relevant information; direct, interactive contact with the company; and simple, hassle-free online purchasing.
According to Liferay, the Allianz’s customers can search for and save quotes, create user accounts and establish an online identity with Allianz that tracks all their insurance activities. Customers can also renew these policies and pay their bills online. They can edit and update personal details for all policies in one place and correspond with Allianz’s support team directly from portal.
In addition, My Insurance Portfolio also sends renewal and billing alerts for any non-Allianz policies that policyholders have in their portfolio, delivering an efficient customer service experience.
