Commercial Insurance strategic business unit of Liberty Mutual Insurance has appointed Mike Martin as executive vice president and general manager of National Insurance Property.
The business unit offers dedicated property expertise, broad and flexible coverages, and large capacity, together with property claims management and in-house risk engineering services.
In his new role, Martin will oversee a unit that provides property insurance, inland marine and equipment breakdown products and services.
Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, he served as senior vice president of North America and chief property underwriter for XL insurance.
Martin, who has more than 25 years of commercial property insurance experience, has built a strong property engineering and underwriting base at Industrial Risk Insurance, during the initial days of his career.
