Property and casualty insurer Liberty Mutual Insurance has appointed Luiz Francisco Campos as president of Liberty Insurance Singapore.
Campos, who has more than 30 years of experience in insurance industry, joins the Singapore division from Liberty Mutual’s operation in Brazil. He joined Liberty Seguros (Brazil) in 2003 and most recently was director of claims.
Prior to that, Campos was responsible for sales and distribution in the São Paulo State region for Liberty Seguros.
Liberty International Asia COO Luciano Suzuki said that under Campos’ leadership, the company’s Brazilian operations gained better control over claims costs and achieved 30% annual sales growth, while opening multiple new branches.
"I look forward to working with Luiz Francisco as he and the team in Singapore continue to develop innovative products and services that help Liberty Insurance succeed in this competitive insurance market," Suzuki added.
