Keystone Insurers Group (KIG) said that CM Moore Insurance and Al Torstrick Insurance would be their first franchises in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The two firms become part of KIG’s network of independent insurance agencies, serving clients in six states.

CM Moore Insurance, founded by Charles Moore, is headquartered in Bowling Green. The brothers Tommy and Charles Adams serve as president and corporate vice president, respectively. Mr Tommy is past president of Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky (IIAK), and is currently Kentucky’s representative to the national organization, the Independent Agents & Brokers of America.

Al Torstrick Insurance is headed by its president, Sandra Blain. Ms Sandra was recently sworn in as the president of the IIAK.

David Boedker, president of Keystone Insurers Group, said: “We met the principals of these agencies at a national conference. They were clearly a cut above, the kind of people with whom we have partnered in the other states. We did our due diligence and determined that Kentucky offered the demographics of a successful state. We’re pleased to extend our reach by partnering with two very fine independent agencies there.”
