Pennsylvania-based Keystone Insurers Group (KIG) has appointed David Keller as new vice president for carrier relations.

Prior to this, Mr Keller spent the last four years with Harleysville Insurance Group as relationship manager for KIG, and eight years with Berkley Mid-Atlantic Group where he held positions as personal lines and marketing vice president. In addition, he served 13 years with Hartford Insurance Group in various roles.

George Wynne, executive vice president at KIG, said: ”Dave will be responsible for overseeing Keystone’s commitment to carriers, for communicating on a regular basis with carrier executives, and for supporting state initiatives directed at production and profitability.

”He is well known to the Keystone management group and many of our partners, particularly in Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina. He understands the Keystone culture, its drivers and its mission, and there is absolutely nobody with more energy and enthusiasm than Dave.”
