Kentucky Farm Bureau has selected Guidewire Software’s BillingCenter as its new billing management system to assist its property and casualty insurer to prepare for future growth and enhance customer experience.

The BillingCenter will be deployed initially for Personal Auto line of business and then followed by all other lines of business in a phased implementation approach.

The Kentucky Farm Bureau required a new system which can interact seamlessly with PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter as well as increase real-time functionality for system updates and consolidate disparate platforms and processes.

Kentucky Farm Bureau Policy Services manager Kathy Grider said the solution was selected based on future options for functionality such as mobile application updates, which currently do not exist with the firm.

Kentucky Farm Bureau Enterprise Application architect Dee Riley added, "We felt that the depth and breadth of BillingCenter’s capabilities will help us meet our current and future IT and business goals."

The Guidewire BillingCenter will automate the billing lifecycle and supports design flexible billing, payment and delinquency plans, manage agent commissions and enable rapid integration with external payment systems.
