Kemper (KMPR) announced that effective November 16, 2015, Joe Metz will join Kemper as the President of Kemper Personal and Commercial Lines business.
In his new role, Metz will report to Denise I. Lynch, Kemper’s Property & Casualty Group Executive and will be based in the company’s Chicago office.
"Joe brings a strong track record of personal lines industry experience," said Denise Lynch. "As the leader of Kemper’s largest Property & Casualty business, Joe will leverage his expertise to deliver the profitable growth we seek."
Metz brings with him more than 25 years in the insurance industry, most recently as a Principal with Z Consulting Group. His prior leadership experience includes serving as Senior Vice President for Sentry Insurance, where he managed the personal lines business group.
He held earlier executive roles with High Point Insurance, Nationwide/THI Holdings and Prudential Property & Casualty.
Metz earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from John Carroll University in Ohio and holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation.
