Keenan & Associates, a US-based insurance consulting and brokerage firm, has named Bernard Colen as the new senior vice president for the public agencies property and casualty practice.
Mr Colen has served both as a consultant and as the co-founder and president of third-party administrator Colen and Lee. He also served as a workers’ compensation specialist for the law firm of Lister, Martin & Thompson.
In addition, Mr Colen is also certified by the state of California as a workers’ compensation claims administrator. He will be based in the company’s Riverside office.
John Stephens, practice leader of property and casualty at Keenan, said: “Bernie Colen has extensive experience in the public sector workers’ compensation market, and we believe that he will be a valuable resource for Keenan’s clients in implementing effective risk management programs.”
