Kaiser Permanente, a provider of integrated health plans, has appointed Kevin Richardson as vice president of sales, national and multi-state business of the company.

In his new role, Mr Richardson will be responsible for leadership and management of new business sales activity and production, across the Kaiser Permanente organization for prospective national and multi-state employer group business.

Most recently, Mr Richardson served as CEO for Benefit Systems and Services, a third party administrator, where he led the development and execution of sales, marketing and overall business strategies across all lines of business.

Thomas Curtin, senior vice president of national sales and account management, said: Kevin Richardson is a recognized sales leader in the national health benefits arena who has a proven track record of success in advising large, national employers on their health benefit strategies.
