JLT Reinsurance Brokers (JLT Re) has appointed Stuart Beatty as managing director, Asia Pacific (APAC), JLT Re Fac.
Prior to this, Beatty held the position of executive managing director at Aon Benfield Fac APAC.
JLT Re managing director Alistair Lockhart-Smith said this appointment demonstrates their continuing focus on their international reach and relevance.
"Whilst we have a number of operations in the Asia Pacific Stuart’s arrival signals a drive to increase our presence and market share as we continue to broaden our reinsurance offering," Alistair said.
Beatty has an experience of over 20 years in the reinsurance industry, with an excellent industry reputation.
Beatty said that he sees a huge amount of opportunity for JLT Re in the APAC region.
"The JLT Group has experienced continued success in high growth economies and this creates an excellent platform for continued success," Beatty said.
JLT Re CEO Alan Griffin said Stuart is joining them at an exciting time for JLT, and he will be a valuable addition to the JLT Re senior management team.
