James River Insurance has named Joseph Morris as president and CEO of the company and its affiliate James River Management Company, effective August 25, 2008.
Mr Morris has over 28 years of insurance industry experience and most recently served as president and CEO of The Philadelphia Contributionship. Previously, Mr Morris had been president of United America Indemnity, a specialty insurance holding company, and president and CEO of Penn-America Group, a specialty property and casualty company.
