E-commerce business JadoPado has launched the first protection plan for electronics products named JadoPado Shield in the UAE.
JadoPado Shield, created in partnership with Allianz Global Assistance, includes both warranty and accidental protection that goes beyond a manufacturer’s standard warranty on all electronics products sold on JadoPado.com.
The Shari’a compliant Takaful product, which is offered on every electronics purchase on JadoPado.com initially, protects mobile phones, tablets and laptops, PCs and game consoles, televisions, digital and video cameras, audio players, printers, scanners, projectors and kitchen appliances.
The plan will include benefits like electronic breakdown, accidental damage, cracked screen, liquid damage, theft by forced entry, unauthorized airtime due to theft, SIM card cost due to theft and travel coverage.
JadoPado founder and CEO of Omar Kassim said JadoPado Shield will give its customers an easy way to protect their investment and more compelling reasons to buy online as accidents happen frequently with electronic goods and devices.
Noor Takaful will underwrite JadoPado Shield protection plans, while Allianz Global Assistance will be manage and fully service claims.
