Durell and iprism have entered into a partnership to launch a combined electronic trading and back-office broker platform.

The platform is developed to provide a time-saving solution to the current technology providers by offering terms from a panel of insurers through one question set satisfying one policy wording.

iprism business development head Simon Lloyd said the partnership with Durell will give the company’s existing users access to an enhanced back office system at a fraction of the cost and with far greater functionality.

According to the two companies, the system will also allow brokers’ clients to access their own dedicated webpage where they can review and download information relating to their policies.

The new system features automatic population and update of clients and policies, full-cycle electronic data interchange and full accounting.

The system is also claimed to save brokers’ time and delivers the required functionality demanded by clients.
