To focus on crop insurance and farm and livestock insurance
US-based insurance broker, International Excess has opend new Agribusiness division which is expected to focus on crop insurance and farm and livestock insurance.
The company has appointed Chuck Gabel as divisional vice president of International Excess Agribusiness. He has specialized in crop insurance and farm insurance for more than 20 years.
Mr. Gabel said: Insurance for Agribusiness has become my full-time passion and I’m working to give the farming industry the protection they deserve.
Marc Pender, COO of International Excess, said: This new Agribusiness division allows agents access to a true agriculture insurance specialist. Retail agents can now not only write farms and crop insurance but will now have the expertise to grow an entire book of agriculture insurance business. This is truly something that the wholesale world has never offered and we are very excited.
International Excess focuses on specialty insurance products, surplus lines and program management.
