Agile Financial Technologies (Agile FT), a software provider to the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sector, has announced that Insurance PHB, a general insurance company in Nigeria, will enforce its AGILIS Core Insurance software – reported IT News Online.
The application will be carried out over a period of seven months, and will be overseen by Finance Application Systems Limited (FASYL), Agile FT’s solution provider in Nigeria.
Agile FT AGILIS Core Insurance would serve as an integrated solution for insurance companies, applying powerful tools that cover the entire business cycle from underwriting and claims management to reinsurance and accounting.
Employing a modular and parametric approach to management of the insurance business and deploying its enterprisewide Web-based technologies, AGILIS is expected to ensure quick and accurate access to information. The company claims that online portals are likely to enhance interaction between Insurance PHB’s clients, sales force and agents.
