Insur IQ, an insurance business intelligence information technology company, has appointed Grace Gaffney as the new chief operating officer following the first round financing and new product launch.

Ms Gaffney will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Insur IQ including sales, client and vendor relations, and also product deployment and implementation.

Ms Gaffney has around 15 years of senior management experience in entrepreneurial and corporate environments. She had been the president of S&P ComStock, a subsidiary of The McGraw-Hill Companies and chief operating officer of SportsTicker, a provider of real-time sports scores and statistics.
