ING has named Ann Glover as the new chief marketing officer for ING Americas operations.

Ms Glover will oversee all corporate marketing activities for ING Americas, including advertising, brand development, sponsorships, diversity and cause marketing, creative services, market research and regulatory communications.

Ms Glover will report to Thomas Waldron, executive vice president of human resources and brand for ING Americas. Her responsibilities will span the US, Canada and Latin America as ING continues to build the company’s brand presence across the region.

Ms Glover joins ING after seven years with The Hartford Financial Services Group. She most recently served as the company’s group senior vice president of corporate relations and chief marketing officer since 2002.

Ms Glover succeeds Toby Hoden, who was recently appointed chief marketing officer for ING Investment Management Americas.

In this newly-created position, Mr Hoden will be responsible for all of ING investment management’s corporate communications, corporate marketing and brand development functions.
