Hunter Wise Financial has formed an alliance with Brazilian Trust and Company Investimentos to pursue US Brazilian Investment Banking opportunities.

The agreement between the US and Brazilian Investment Banks will include Buy Side and Sell Side M&A, Financings and Strategic Planning on behalf of mutual clients.

California-based Hunter Wise will be represented by the managing director of Hunter Wise Christopher Gayde in developing business transactions while Trust and Co will be represented by Marcos Maissonave.

Gayde added that the Brazilian economy was the largest among Latin American nations and is currently growing at more than 5% annually.

"Also, Brazil has large and well developed manufacturing and service centers and is quickly expanding its presence in world markets. We believe the expertise and experience that Hunter Wise has in mergers, acquisitions, corporate finance and other advisory services will be very useful for Trust and Co," Gayde added.

Currently, Hunter Wise, headquartered at Porto Alegre, is working with clients in Brazil on projects in the renewable energy, natural resources and healthcare spaces. With 15 offices in the US and offices in Beijing and London, it also provides mergers, acquisitions, corporate finance and other advisory services.
