Kentucky-based Humana, a health and supplemental benefits company, has shaped a strategic alliance with CUNA Mutal Group (CUNA), a provider of financial services to credit unions. The alliance would provide Humana’s medicare products (HMP), to be offered by CUNA Mutual’s call center and field-based agents, to more than 9.5 million credit union members, age 65 and over.

HMP comprise Medicare Advantage, a health insurance plan which combines Original Medicare’s underpinnings with additional health and wellness benefits, Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage, and Medigap, also known as Medicare Supplement.
