US based health insurer Humana has named Dan Feruck as the new president of its Florida employer group operations.
Feruck has been acting as Humana’s senior commercial executive for the company’s Florida markets, which include South Florida, Central Florida and North Florida. He has been the company’s Georgia and Alabama commercial market president for the past seven years.
Feruck will be based in Atlanta, and continue in his Georgia/Alabama leadership roles.
He manages the overall commercial operations of Humana’s Florida market, as well as developing and implementing strategic objectives, said the underwriter.
Humana serves more than 185,000 commercial health plan members, 2.3 million specialty benefits members and nearly 80,000 individual health plan members statewide.
