The East Division of Hub International Midwest (Hub Midwest East) has purchased Pinnacle Insurance Partners, a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based full-service insurance brokerage firm, for an undisclosed sum.

Following completion of the transaction, the acquired entity will become part of Hub Midwest East’s Grand Rapids, Michigan office, enabling it to strengthen its footprint in St Joseph, Michigan and add a new office location in Saginaw, Michigan.

Under the terms of the deal, Russell Manz, Michael Poggi, Brad Poggi and Dave Mack and all their respective employees will be absorbed by Hub Midwest East, and will become members of the Hub Midwest operations.

Pinnacle provides property and casualty, employee benefits and personal lines products and services to a diversified client base, primarily throughout Michigan.

Meanwhile, Hub’s subsidiary Hub International Insurance Services, California Operations, (Hub California) acquired the assets of Seeger Benefits & Insurance Services (Seeger), a Thousand Oaks, California-based insurance brokerage firm.

Post-acquisition, the Seeger operations will operate as a part of Hub California’s Westlake Village office, while Leanne Seeger will join Hub California as vice president, reporting to Darren Caesar, Executive Vice President, Hub California.

Established in 2003, Seeger delivers employee benefits products and services to clients throughout Northern Los Angeles and Ventura County.

Headquartered in Chicago, Hub International operates as global insurance brokerage and offers property and casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment and risk management products and services in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and Brazil.
