Insurance brokerage firm Hub International (Hub) has acquired Ontario, Canada-based Southland Insurance Brokers (Southland).

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
With Ontario offices in Leamington, Tecumseh and Harrow, Southland has been providing customers in Windsor and Essex County with home, auto, travel and commercial insurance for more than 50 years.
Southland offers a variety of specialized insurance programs for its clients and these programs will continue to diversify in the coming years. Southland will join Hub Ontario under the leadership of Hub Ontario CEO Rob Keilty.
