Howden Broking Group, part of international insurance and reinsurance distribution group Hyperion, has launched its new energy division.
According to Howden, the new energy division will be headed by sector specialist Alan Brooks.
In addition executives joining Howden are Andy Baker, Chris Pinnington, Jeremy Furber, Vikki Raymond, Steve Portman, Michael White, and Helen Foster.
Howden Broking Group CEO Tim Coles said it is a core strategic intention to expand the wholesale and reinsurance platform, beginning with Energy, before developing the capabilities in Marine and Aviation.
Brooks said the dynamic nature of Howden’s global platform of local retail operations and international wholesale and reinsurance divisions presents an exciting opportunity for Energy business.
"We will work closely with our new colleagues across this platform to deliver retail, wholesale and reinsurance solutions internationally, and wholesale and reinsurance solutions in the North American market,"Brooks said.
