Hooper Holmes, a US-based provider of outsourced health risk assessment services to the life insurance and health industries, has launched iParamed Expedite, a new service that cuts costs and enhances accuracy for insurance applications.

The iParamed Expedite service reduces processing time for both individual and group insurance products by integrating applicant information into electronic files tailored to insurance company workflow and underwriting systems.

According to Hooper, iParamed Expedite combines quality and accuracy of a tele-underwriting interview with a face-to-face exam, providing a complete and accurate application. It integrates application process with underwriting, medical exam and laboratory testing services provided by the company.

Expedite is the second service Hooper Holmes has introduced on its new iParamed platform. It previously introduced iParamed e-Exam, an electronic exam designed to reduce total cost of underwriting.

Roy Bubbs, president and CEO of Hooper Holmes, said: “By integrating and streamlining the process, we reduce both underwriting time and expense. And by reducing omissions and errors, iParamed Expedite positively impacts the loss ratios of our clients, resulting in a healthier bottom line.”
