Insurer Hiscox Germany has gone live on Prima Insure, a SaaS platform for insurance product distribution, and launched its first products within three months of implementation.
According to Prima Solutions, Hiscox Germany was looking for a flexible platform to distribute and manage its professional indemnity products marketed through its new direct and online channel on hiscox.de/direkt.
Already benefiting from the Prima Insure in France, its implementation in Germany is part of a strategy to create European Internet distribution platform.
Hiscox Group IT director Stéphane Flaquet said that Prima Insure enables the company to setup its products online quickly, to provide its customers with an online rating, quoting and binding process and a personal space on the Internet to manage their contracts.
"It also offers our underwriters the management capabilities they need, all from one single software platform", Flaquet added.
Completely configurable, customizable, 100% web based, modular and available in SaaS mode, the Prima Insure platform suits the needs of all users, including customers, distributors or underwriters.
Headquartered in Bermuda, Hiscox operates as a specialist insurer, and manages Hiscox London Market, Hiscox UK and Europe and Hiscox International.
In Germany, Hiscox manages offices in Hamburg, Cologne and Munich and offers complete all-risk insurance policies for high net worth clients.
