Hiscox has joined hands with Business Owners Liability Team (BOLT Insurance Agency) to distribute its small commercial insurance products to business owners in the US on the BOLT Insurance portal platform.
BOLT Insurance evp Tom Hammond said the agreement with Hiscox has significantly increased its base, providing its customers access to an even wider range of products from top-tier insurers committed to the small-business market.
The partnership with Bolt will facilitate small business owners to get access to top markets and carriers online, with instant quotes and expert consultation, the firm said.
The platform gathers all the relevant underwriting information required by top-line carriers, and allows business owners to quickly view proposals online.
Hiscox small business insurance expert Kevin Kerridge said, "Hiscox can now reach more small business owners with our insurance products in areas where we are looking to grow the business through BOLT’s innovative distribution network."
Headquartered in Bermuda, Hiscox offers professional liability, property and specialty insurance to US businesses through US based brokers.
