Heffernan Insurance Brokers, an independent brokerage firm, has appointed Joshua Rappaport as assistant vice president to its California office.
In his new role, Rappaport will be responsible for producing new business in Southern California.
Rappaport will join Heffernan after several years of experience working in commercial insurance, where he involved in analyzing and auditing contracts and providing recommendations to minimize risk.
Prior to Heffernan, he worked closely with many trade association groups such as lumber, machining, auto wholesalers and plumbing, heating & cooling in order to tailor coverage to those industries.
Heffernan Insurance Brokers is a full line of property, liability, group medical insurance, personal insurance and financial services.
The California-headquartered firm also provides insurance products and services to individuals, as well as to a diverse group of companies within a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, nonprofits, and technology, among others.
