To allow its staff, partners and customers to build interfaces from Healthrules software

Healthedge, a provider of enterprise software platform for healthcare payors, has entered into a partnership with iway Software. The partnership will enable Healthedge clients to integrate their internal systems, partner networks and exchanges with its Healthrules product suite.

According to Healthedge, the iway’s integration approach allows Healthedge’s staff, partners, and customers to build interfaces to and from the Healthrules software. The iway products utilize integration and transformation engine and a collection of modular, reusable adapters to provide a scalable offering that meets the needs of enterprises.

Using Healthrules, the payors can design and implement benefit plans or provide contract, regardless of complexity. These enables to take advantage of new market opportunities, automate all of their existing lines of business and enjoy the benefits of new standards like ICD-10.

Gerald Cohen, CEO and president of iway Software, said: “Healthcare payors are faced with a rapidly changing and an increasingly complex environment. To be successful in this new world, payors must integrate all of their systems and workflows and they must collect, use and communicate information more efficiently.

Rob Gillette, CEO of Healthedge, said: “Our partnership with iWay is enabling us to provide some of the most timely and cost-effective implementations in the healthcare industry. This is yet another example of how HealthEdge is leveraging the capabilities of cutting-edge partners like iWay to provide organizations deploying our software with an implementation experience that is second to none.

“Leveraging the iWay offerings with Healthedge’s innovative, game-changing Healthrules product suite will enable payors to reduce implementation risk and enjoy a faster, less costly, and more robust integration effort.”
