HCC Insurance Holdings has appointed Mark Callahan as its new executive vice president and chief actuarial officer.
Previously, Callahan served as chief risk of underwriting, and actuarial services officer for XL Insurance.
Callahan also held various positions including senior vice president and underwriter for XL Financial Solutions and executive vice president and chief actuarial officer for XL Insurance.
Prior to this, Callahan worked for Milliman, managing its offices in Dallas and Bermuda.
HCC president and CEO John Molbeck said that the company is pleased to strengthen its executive management by Mark’s addition, as his considerable talents will enhance the company’s insurance capabilities as well as add to enterprise risk management focus.
