HCC Global Financial Products (HCC Global) has introduced an international HCC branded Kidnap and Ransom (K&R) insurance product in collaboration with HCC Specialty.
K&R insurance policies are scheduled to be provided to HCC Global’s international network of brokers in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia, starting from January 2013.
In a joint press release, HCC Global managing directors Thibaud Hervy and Philippe Vezio said HCC Specialty holds extensive expertise in providing solutions to large corporations and families that are exposed to kidnapping, extortion and detention threats.
”That, together with our in-depth local knowledge of international markets, will ensure a seamless level of service and first class underwriting for our clients," Hervy and Vezio added.
Both HCC Global and HCC Specialty are affiliated businesses owned by Texas-based HCC Insurance Holdings, a leading international specialty insurance group with offices in the US, UK, Spain and Ireland.
