Hastings Mutual Insurance has appointed Renee Beauford as new vice president of claims in a move to further develop the firm's claims organization.
Having joined Hastings Mutual in 2007, Beauford served as the Claims Field Director in earlier and has more than 20 years of insurance industry experience and is specialised in claims management.
The claims experience for Beauford includes expertise in litigation, claims adjusting, reserve setting, and strategic leadership.
Hastings Mutual president and CEO Bill Wallace said that Renee had been an integral part of Hastings Mutual’s claims management group over the past four and a half years.
"She is an excellent addition to our executive team and will bring consistency and continuity to Hastings Mutual’s claims organization during this transition," Wallace added.
Renee had earlier served at Hartford Insurance and Zurich Insurance, prior to working for Hastings Mutual.
