The Hartford Financial Services Group has promoted Tim Nelligan to senior vice president and division manager of the company’s Central division.
In his new role, Nelligan will lead The Hartford’s sales and underwriting services for the company’s consumer markets and commercial markets independent agents, brokers and their customers in the Midwest and Southwestern states.
Nelligan will succeed Rex Sprunger, who has been appointed as Western division manager.
Earlier to this role, Nelligan served as regional vice president for the Southwest region where he led the company’s small commercial, personal lines, middle market, specialty practices and cross sell initiatives.
Nelligan, who joined The Hartford in 1985, has held various management roles in Chicago, Oklahoma and most recently, Dallas.
