Christopher Lewis will be responsible for capital planning and enterprise risk management
The Hartford Financial Services (HIG) has appointed Christopher Lewis as Senior Vice President, capital planning, and Chief Risk Officer of property and casualty operations.
Mr. Lewis, as Senior Vice President, will be responsible for capital planning and analysis across the enterprise for capital projections and capital attribution, supporting the company’s business operations. He will report to Robert Paiano, HIG’s Senior Vice President and Enterprise Chief Risk Officer.
In addition, Mr. Lewis as Chief Risk Officer for property and casualty operations, will be responsible for enterprise risk management initiatives and implementation.
Mr. Lewis was most recently Chief Financial Officer, Personal and Small Business Insurance. Prior to joining HIG, he served as Managing Director and Global Head of advisory services for Fitch Risk Management.
