Property and casualty insurance provider The Hartford has named Stephanie Bush and Rick Newell to senior leadership positions in the company’s small commercial segment.
Bush will assume the role of senior vice president, chief product and underwriting officer, while Newell as vice president and head of small commercial sales.
Both will report to Ray Sprague, senior vice president of small commercial insurance.
Bush had served in responsible roles in The Hartford’s commercial insurance and field operations prior to leaving the company in 2008.
Most recently, she was with Travelers Insurance, as senior vice president of product management for personal insurance.
Prior to joining Hartford, Newell held positions with Allianz/Fireman’s Fund and Aetna.
In his new role, he will be responsible for small commercial distribution strategy, field sales and agency management.
The company’s small commercial segment offers the Spectrum Business Owner’s Policy, Workers’ Compensation and Commercial Auto, has more than one million policies in force.
