Hanwha Life Insurance, formerly known as Korea Life Insurance, has selected IBM to support its enterprise-wide customer information transformation initiative.

IBM will provide a single, comprehensive view of customers and critical insights for Hanwha, while enabling the insurers to quickly respond to changing demands of customer and deliver compelling, customized offerings.

IBM Global Business Services Business Analytics and Optimization leader Sangho Lee said, "IBM is bringing together its capabilities across services, software and systems to help Hanwha develop a strategic view of their customer data and effectively analyze and act on the information to drive new business growth."

In order to integrate all of the firm’s customer data across its multiple businesses, IBM will also provide consulting services and a complete solution.

New analytics capabilities will also be provided by IBM in addition to Master Data Management (MDM) system to provide different levels of access to user groups based on business need, while integrating and managing Hanwha’s customer data across businesses.

Hanwha provides life insurance products including whole life, variable life, critical illness insurance and annuities, as well as asset management services to both individual and corporate clients.
