To continue development of its capabilities in the manufacturing space

Hanover Insurance Group has named Andrejs Krutainis as the lead for Hanover Specialty Property, a provider of underwriting, risk management and claims services for small-and medium-sized companies that manufacture, store, transport or use industrial chemicals and other flammable or combustible materials.

Mr Krutainis will work with The Hanover’s middle market and loss control teams to continue development of its total capabilities in the manufacturing space, enabling the company’s agent partners to deliver suite of products and services for all segments of the industry.

Mr Krutainis brings more than 30 years experience to The Hanover, having worked with several carriers. He was vice president of inland marine and property at Harleysville Insurance, responsible for all package, property and inland marine operations.

Prior to joining Harleysville in 2007, he also served as chief operating officer for Comprehensive Auto Resource Company, where he was responsible for strategic direction, product development and marketing.
