Massachusetts-based The Hanover Insurance Group has selected ISO's LOCATION services and LOCATION Analyst for use in all states to help determine critical risk information.
ISO is a member of the Verisk Insurance Solutions group at Verisk Analytics.
Verisk Analytics said LOCATION will provide insurers with accurate geographic information to make timely underwriting decisions and it uses current address, parcel, and street information.
The Hanover has also selected LOCATION Future Effective Public Protection Classification (PPC) Service, which will provide notice of upcoming PPC changes to aid in data accuracy for renewal policy processing.
The Hanover vice president, product development Stephen Marshall said using LOCATION provides them with even more valuable data to apply in the underwriting process. The Hanover has been using ISO’s Public Protection Classification program for many years. By automating the process with LOCATION, it further supports their strategy of making it even easier for their agents to do business with therm.
