To cover investor relations and public relations
Hannover Re has appointed Karl Steinle to assume responsibility for Corporate Communications. His predecessor, Stefan Schulz, is moving within the company to its insurance-linked securities department.
In his new role, Mr Steinle covers investor relations and public relations. Mr Steinle is leaving his former position as head of investor relations/rating at HSH Nordbank in Hamburg.
Prior to this, Mr Steinle served as communications consultant and member of the board with the consultancy agency equinet communications in Frankfurt. In the course of his professional career, he has also served as head of investor relations with Krones and Creaton.
Hannover Re is reinsurance groups, it transacts all lines of non-life and life and health reinsurance. Its worldwide network consists of more than 100 subsidiaries, branch and representative offices on all five continents with a total staff of roughly 2,000.
