Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America has appointed David Wheat as the new executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO), effective from March 1, 2010, to head the finance, corporate actuarial, treasury, risk management, and controller functions.
In his new role, Mr Wheat will be based in the company’s Orlando, Florida office. Most recently, he served as the chief financial officer of ING Americas. Prior to joining ING Americas, he was a partner in the Ernst & Young Insurance Practice.
