Halo Insurance Services, and its registered trading name, iCarhireinsurance.com, have been granted membership of ABTA's Trade Industry Partner Scheme.

According to Halo Insurance, ABTA’s Trade Industry Partner Scheme is open to companies involved in travel industry and is designed to enhance links between travel industry suppliers, ABTA and ABTA members.

The scheme includes tourist boards, accountancy firms, legal practices, airlines, PR companies and insurance companies. Whilst not bound by ABTA’s membership rules and code of conduct, partners are required to adhere to the scheme rules.

The company said that it will be an efficient ABTA partner. It’s new product, iCarhireinsurance.com is a new online excess insurance service that takes jargon, hassle and expense out of car hire insurance by offering policies that are cheap and efficient than those sold at car rental desks.

In addition, iCarhireinsurance.com also provides cover like loss damage waiver for car rentals in the USA and Canada. Its policies can be used with all car rental agreements, and are quick and easy to choose and buy.
