Mr. Keeling will chair company’s International Board, and will be responsible for its operations in the UK, Continental Europe, Asia Pacific, Australia and Bermuda
Guy Carpenter & Company (Guy Carpenter) has named Henry Keeling as President and Chief Executive Officer of International Operations, effective August 2009. He will report to Peter Zaffino, President and CEO of Guy Carpenter & Company, besides joining the company’s Executive Committee.
Mr. Keeling will chair the company’s International Board, and will be responsible for its operations in the UK, Continental Europe, Asia Pacific, Australia and Bermuda. In addition, he will be responsible for all marine and energy, aviation and retrocession businesses.

Mr. Keeling previously served as President and Chief Operating and Underwriting Officer of Mid Ocean Re. He held the position of Chief Executive of Global Reinsurance Operations for XL Capital from 1998 to 2005, and was appointed COO in 2006. Most recently, Mr. Keeling was an Operating Partner of Stone Point Capital.
