GuideOne Insurance, an Iowa-based national niche market insurer, has deployed a new claims management system, Guidewire ClaimCenter, which is developed by Guidewire Software.

To develop the software, GuideOne teamed with Guidewire PartnerConnect alliance member PwC US and Guidewire.

The new system allows the company to automate its claims process and help adjusters focus on servicing their customers and agents.

It can also integrate with third party systems that allow easy claims handling.

With the help of the new system, the company will enhance its operational efficiencies and improve loss handling.

GuideOne Insurance property/casualty claims director Roger Nebergall said the feedback they have received from their employees about ClaimCenter has been very positive.

"We are saving time on several fronts now. From the automated creation of correspondence and letters to the ease of reviewing and navigating files, ClaimCenter is allowing our staff to work very efficiently and effectively," Nebergall added.

"Our supervisors let us know they appreciate the visibility into adjuster’s work, including their diary management, as it allows them real-time insight into the status of claims."
