The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America has appointed Patricia McLaughlin as the new vice president of interactive media & communications.

In her new role, McLaughlin will be responsible for enhancing the company’s brand and facilitating better online presence for the company through digital communications including social media initiatives.

McLaughlin will be reporting to the company’s senior vice president and chief communications officer Richard Jones.

Previously, McLaughlin created and implemented integrated marketing and brand programs at several companies including Oxford Health, AXA Equitable and most recently at AIG where she was director of global branding.

Jones said that Patricia’s experience with strategic branding and her understanding of the insurance industry make her well suited to provide leadership for integrated brand communications across all platforms.
