Guardian Life Insurance Company of America has appointed Lisa Powell as vice president of advanced sales, individual products distribution. Ms Lisa joins Guardian from AXA Equitable.
In her new role, Ms Powell is responsible for managing a centralized team of experts who assist in supporting Guardian representatives in providing solutions for individuals and business owners for advanced business planning and protection, estate planning and retirement.
Kurt Shallow has also joined Guardian as vice president, risk products distribution. Formerly of Principal Financial Group, Mr Shallow will lead national sales wholesaling over all risk products. He will also play a key role in building Guardian’s Bank Owned Life Insurance and Company Owned Life Insurance distribution capabilities.
Additionally, Bryan Tutor has joined Guardian as vice president and CFO, individual products distribution. In this new position, Mr Tutor will be responsible for overseeing finance, sales technology and operations, strategy and inside sales support.
