The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (Guardian) has unveiled a new dual option vision plan that provides the employees with the choice of networks.
The new plan offers the employees the choice between the two US based VSP Vision Care and Davis Vision networks for helping to manage plan costs with the provision of greater access to providers.
Guardian Group Products vice president Ray Marra said that Vision insurance is an important component of a company wellness program that promotes overall health and can lead to better managed healthcare.
"This innovative vision offering provides members with the option to choose which network best meet their needs – helping to maintain their health and control costs," Marra added.
The new plan option is accessible on Full Feature, Exam Plus and Exam Plus Allowance plans for new vision groups.
