Guarantee Insurance Names New Director Of Underwriting

To lead Guarantee's alternative market and traditional workers' compensation underwriting departments

Guarantee Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Patriot Risk Management, has appointed John Harris, an executive with experience in workers’ compensation insurance, as director of underwriting in its leadership team.

In his new role, Mr Harris will be responsible for leading Guarantee’s alternative market and traditional workers’ compensation underwriting departments.

Charles Schuver, chief underwriting officer of Guarantee Insurance, said: We are very pleased that John has joined the Guarantee team. He brings a wealth of leadership experience and technical expertise to our underwriting facility, said Charles Schuver, Chief Underwriting Officer of Guarantee Insurance Company.

Prior to Guarantee, Mr Harris was a vice president of underwriting with Tower Insurance Group. He has also held leadership positions with AleMac Insurance Services, ACE-USA, Reliance National, and International Risk Management Group.

Patriot Risk Management produces, underwrites and administers alternative market and traditional workers’ compensation insurance plans, and provides claims services for insurance companies, segregated cell captives and reinsurers.
